This pretty bead has been hand cast in solid 925 sterling silver by artisans in Peru. It is designed to thread either individually onto our silver chains, leather necklets, silver hoop earrings, plain or braided leather bracelets. See ‘Additional Information’ below for dimensions and care instructions.
STORY: This silver six petaled ‘Amarillo Flower’ bead is based on a stone Moche mace head. The clubs were often formed or decorated with iconography related to nature or the cosmos, using inspiration such as stems, flowers, stars, and cacti. This flower represents the 6 petalled flower of the Aji Amarillo chilli pepper, known to be one of the main Moche crops and a common ingredient of Moche cooking, and still a standard ingredient of Peruvian cooking today. It is hot in flavour, amazingly high in vitamin c and antioxidants and well known for a number of health benefits.

Email sales@thenarradorescollection.com When returning an item for exchange or refund, the item must be returned unworn, in perfect condition and in the original packaging with all associated material. Nb. Earrings cannot be returned for safety reasons. When returning an item please request a proof of postage receipt. We cannot refund the cost of returning an item however when we receive the item back we will send you a confirmation and you will be sent a refund (including your original postage cost) or an exchange.
